Product Composition and Specifications

Wood Wool Panels are made of wood fibre with a 1.2mm width, combined with magnesium composites. The thickness is 15mm, and the panel size is 1220 x 610 mm, as per the choice of the architect or person in charge.

Performance and Standards

• Noise Absorption: As per ISO: 354-1985 and ASTM 423-90a.

• Rated Fire Class -1 as per BS 476 Part 5 and 6.

• Weather Resistance: As per IS 3308.
  
  
• Thermal Insulation: As per IS: 3346, tested under 90% RH at 60°C (140°F) for 15 days with no deterioration.
  
  
• Compliance: Conforms to EN 13168 and is RoHS compliant.

HOW TO FIX

Can be installed by screw fixing on GI metal stud of 48mm size and 0.55mm thickness, having one flange of 34mm and the other 36mm, placed at 610mm c/c vertical into 50mm floor and ceiling channels of 0.55mm thickness, with two equal flanges of 32mm each.

Then, GI metal studs are fixed at 610mm c/c horizontally, forming a 610 x 610mm c/c grid.

A 10mm anti-vibration strip will be used before GI framing on the floor.

The backing of the panel will be cement, with 50mm thickness and 96 Kg/m³ density.
