Scope
This policy applies to all departments involved in the manufacturing process, including fabric sourcing, knitting, dyeing, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
Quality Control Measures
Pre-Production Quality Assurance
Raw Material Inspection: Inspect all raw materials (fabric, trims, accessories) for quality and compliance before use. Ensure colorfastness, GSM, and fabric quality are as per customer requirements.
Lab Testing: Conduct necessary lab tests such as colorfastness, shrinkage, and strength tests to verify material quality.
In-Line Quality Control
Initial Production Check (IPC): Verify the first batch of production against approved samples. Identify and rectify any discrepancies early in the process.
100% In-Line Inspection: Perform inspections at critical stages of the production process (e.g., after cutting, stitching). Identify defects such as open seams, incorrect stitching, or measurement issues.
Quality Reporting: Document findings during in-line checks and communicate with the production team for immediate correction.
Final Quality Control (FQC)
Final Random Inspection (FRI): Inspect a random sample from the final lot using the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standard. Check for product appearance, measurements, packaging, and labeling accuracy.
Defect Categorization: Identify defects as minor, major, or critical and take corrective actions accordingly.
Packaging and Shipment Control
Pre-Shipment Inspection: Verify that packaging is secure and matches customer requirements. Ensure correct labeling and barcoding.
Final Approval: Provide a final review and approval before shipment to ensure the product meets all specifications.
