CIC Powerbox, headquartered in the heartland of America, Kansas, is a pioneering force in the field of Energy & Power. Our story begins with the innovative mind of Mike E. Windsor, an electronic engineering technologist with over three decades of experience in the electronics and aerospace industry.

Mike's passion for technology and hard work instilled in his youth led to the creation of the world's first AC powered truck box, the CIC Powerbox™.

Born and raised in Southeast Kansas, Mike Windsor's journey from farming local land with his family to obtaining his Electronic Engineering Degree from Pittsburg State University in 1981 reflects his dedication. He embarked on his professional journey in Kansas City, MO, and later as the National Sales Manager for Parlex in Boston.

Over the years, Mike honed his skills, ultimately becoming the President and COO of Electri-Tek Inc. in Denver. In 2000, he made a significant decision to move his family back to Southeast Kansas, driven by a strong sense of family support.
