Founded In 1936, The first heavy duty truck producer in China.1960,Sinotruk developed and made the first heavy duty truck (Huanghe JN150) in China .

 In 2003, Sinotruk established a joint assembly factory with Volvo in Jinan China .Sinotruk is the biggest Heavy-duty Truck manufacturer in China now. 

In the last 5 years, Sinotruk maintained 50% growth rate in sales volume, ranked number 1 among heavy duty truck producers in China  In 2008, Trucks above 15 tons occupied 31.2% market share, above 20tons occupied 42.3% market share in China
