From the late 1990s through 2008, ConAgra’s fertilizer business in the region continued to expand through co-operation and partnerships with several companies, supplying fertilizer products to many countries – South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia, to name but a few.
In 2008, Gaoltlthe Trading Enterprise is formed by a group of investors and acquires the ConAgra Trade Group from ConAgra Inc. One of the key drivers for this acquisition was ConAgra’s fertilizer business.

In 2009, having witnessed the growth and opportunities the Southern African region presents, Gaoltlthe established its own flagship in South Africa.

Present day
With our main storage facility in Durban, it is possible to easily supply customers with products, country-wide and across borders. Gaoltlthe is continuously building strategic relationships with local partners and companies.

This enables Gaoltlthe to reach more potential customers and increase our presence in the Southern African region. We aim to unlock and increase the potential of all our customers and business partners.
