About International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd
International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, established in 1954 by Chairman Abdul Latif, began as a small workshop specializing in the maintenance and repair of automobiles and industrial equipment. Initially operating from a modest 300-square-foot space, the company has grown significantly over the decades.
In 1961, Abdul Latif made a significant impact by introducing Karachi’s first locally produced central lathe. By 1978, the company expanded into engine production and repair equipment, introducing a range of honing models and boring cylinders to the automotive sector. This expansion marked the beginning of the company’s diversified offerings.
The company was later restructured and became a family-owned business. Abdul Latif’s sons joined the company, continuing his legacy while advancing their expertise in mechanical engineering. This generational involvement has been crucial to the company's growth and adaptation.
In 1997, International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd started producing gears and transmissions for regional OEMs, including Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd., known for manufacturing New Holland tractors. The company further advanced its product line in 2001 by developing gear components and differentials for these tractors.
Rebranded on April 6, 2005, as International Automotive Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, the company achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification on May 8, 2006. This certification underscores the company’s dedication to quality and its commitment to providing exceptional automotive and industrial components.
