Kathabong (Pty) Ltd is a renowned general supply and manufacturer of toilet paper owned by a black woman. Our idea was born of an abiding conviction that the marginal position of the previously disadvantaged people of South Africa particularly women can only be reversed when they take it upon themselves to begin to alleviate poverty and deprivation.

The Director inspired by her passion to become a renowned entrepreneur conducted extensive research through which this potentially viable business concept was identified; the consensus was reached that a company be registered to pursue this vision. This prompted the registration and incorporation of our company by the name of Kathabong (Pty) Ltd. With registration number 2020/247214/07.

In addition to the above the entrepreneur acquired vast amount of experience in the different spheres involving Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Project Management and Construction. The toilet paper industry is primary geared towards domestic household and commercial consumption.

Kathabong has considered the inclusion of other ancillary products like towels, facial tissues, napkins, wrapping tissues as well as specialty tissues to widen the industrial net.

The company is owned and managed by astute business woman with ambitious plans and passion to make this business a success. She brings in a wealth of experience and skills acquired through her entrepreneurial drive and employment.

The company will throughout its existence recognize employees and development to ensure free flow of innovation adding value to quality of services toward customers.

The existence of the company will not only minimize the gap that was realized of supplying quality and yet affordable toilet paper but it will also contribute in creating jobs and empowering women to be financially independent.
