While running 2 outdoor furniture showrooms and being in the outdoor furniture business for 27 years the founders Thomas & Juliet noticed the recent increased demand for replacement custom made outdoor furniture cushions to suit customers pre existing lounges, chairs benches.

In recent years importers & wholesalers of outdoor furniture have been supplying outdoor furniture with cushions that are simply not able to be left exposed to the elements without prematurely fading and sagging. The majority of outdoor lounges sold in New Zealand use regular foam making the cushions susceptible too mould in outdoor situations and not suitable.

There are many outdoor furniture and cushion stores throughout New Zealand. However if you want cushions that are made from proper all-weather fabric, with quick drying outdoor foam or want an unusual size there were not many options other than a select few over priced local cushion makers. The Cushion Company changes that.
