Walta Centre of Excellence (WCOE

Walta Centre of Excellence (WCOE) is a Corporate Skills Development as well as Technical & Vocational training centre. It is located at Plaza WCOE Batu Kawan which houses an extensive cafeteria with a wide variety of cuisines.

Since 2014, Walta Engineering has trained more than 70 apprentices with the Malaysian Skills Certificate (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) in its manufacturing facility under the Dual Vocational Training System (Sistem Latihan Dual Negara). With this successful track record of producing skilled workforce, Walta Engineering has spun off the Walta Centre of Excellence (WCOE) with the purpose of creating industry-relevant skilled workforce to serve manufacturing industry needs.

In line with the Malaysian Government's aspiration to promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for the manufacturing industry, WCOE is dedicating itself to the industrial automation engineering programme.

The objective of this programme is to produce work-ready technicians by inspiring and providing young people with hands-on automation engineering challenges. This is a great opportunity for those with a passion for solving problems and are fascinated with how things work.

Plaza WCOE also provides shared business facilities to the BKIP Community - such as meeting/ seminar or training rooms, as well as event halls and promotional booth space. With easy-access, free parking and conducive environment, Plaza WCOE has indeed become the Community Hub in the BKIP (and beyond).
