Purpose: An AAC autoclave is designed to cure or harden AAC products through a process known as autoclaving. Autoclaving involves subjecting the AAC materials to high-pressure steam at elevated temperatures, which promotes chemical reactions within the concrete mixture, resulting in a strong, lightweight, and thermally efficient product.

Design: AAC autoclaves are typically cylindrical vessels made from high-quality materials, such as steel. They are equipped with hinged or sliding doors to load and unload AAC products. The interior of the autoclave is lined with heat-resistant materials to withstand the high temperatures and pressure.

Pressure and Temperature Control: The autoclave is equipped with systems to regulate both pressure and temperature. During the autoclaving process, the pressure inside the autoclave is increased, and steam is introduced to reach and maintain a specific temperature, usually around 190-200°C (374-392°F). This combination of pressure and heat helps in the curing of AAC materials.

Curing Process: The curing process in the AAC autoclave typically takes several hours. It allows the chemical reactions within the AAC mixture to occur, resulting in the formation of calcium silicate hydrates, which provide strength to the material.
