Because, after dissolved in water, Aluminum Sulfate can make the small particles and natural colloidal particles coalesce into large floc,thus to remove them from water, so as the water and wastewater coagulant.

2) In the paper industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used as a paper sizing agent of paper, to improving paper quality (reducing spots, enhance the water resistance, permeability, increase the hardness, etc.

3) In printing and dyeing industry, as anti-seepage agent mordant and printing. Pigment industry for the production of chrome yellow and precipitant, at the same time, as solid color and fillers.

4). In fire protection industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used as retention agent of foam fire extinguisher, making with baking soda and foaming agent.

5) In the food industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used as a curing agent.

6) In wood industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used as a preservative.

7) In Cosmetic and medicine industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used as raw materials for antiperspirant cosmetics an astringent.

8) In textile Industry, Aluminum Sulfate is used for color fixing in Naphthol based dyes for cotton fabric.

9) As raw materials, Aluminum Sulfate can use in the manufacture of synthetic gemstones and senior ammonium alum, other aluminate. and also used as, and manufacturing alum, aluminum white raw materials, oil bleaching, deodorization agent, and raw materials of certain drugs, and so on.
