A boulder is a rock fragment with size greater than 25.6 centimeters (10.1 in) in diameter. Smaller pieces are called cobbles and pebbles, depending on their "grain size". While a boulder may be small enough to move or roll manually, others are extremely massive. In common usage, a boulder is too large for a person to move. Smaller boulders are usually just called rocks or stones.

One of the most crucial elements in the construction work is the boulder concrete or crushed stone. The boulder concrete is used for making Housing/industrial structures, roadways and other more.

Limestone, Traprock, Washed gravel, Granite, Argillite, Quartzite.

Grades of Concrete or Crushed Stone:
#05 - Sizes are from 1" down to fine particles. For road and paver base.
#67 - Sizes from 3/4" down to fine particles. For fill, road and slab base.
#01 - Sizes are from 2" to 4". The largest of the crushed stone grades for culvert ballast.
#08 - Sizes from 3/8" to 1/2". For concrete and asphalt mix.
#03 - Sizes from 1/2" to 2". For drainage and railroad projects.
#10 - Screenings or dust. For fabrication of concrete blocks & pavers for riding areas.
#57 - Sizes 3/4" For concrete & asphalt mix, driveways, landscaping & French drains.
#411-A mixture of stone dust and #57 stone. For driveways, roads and as a base for retaining walls. It can also be used to patch holes in paved areas. The dust mixes with the larger stone and settles well.
