The CM-8826FN Coating Thickness Gauge is used to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic materials and non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic metals. The F probe is for non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates, while the N probe is for non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic metals.
