The main components of beer vinasse are malt skin, starch and protein. The protein content is between 22% and 48%, making the vinasse an excellent protein feed for aquaculture and animal husbandry. Beer vinasse is also rich in crude protein, crude fiber and trace elements. Generally, it saves food and reduces environmental pollution to dry beer into animal feed and provided it to the aquaculture industry . After a series of processes such as dehydration and fermentation, we can also obtain 50% to 70% of protein from malt, and the protein has high nutritional value.
At present,  our lack of animal feed resources, especially the lack of protein feed resources, has become a severe restrictive factor for the development of animal feed industry.Beer vinasse has high protein content and high amino acid content.If processed into feed ingredients, beer vinasse can be animal feed.
However, the current utilization of vinasse is: only a part of the malt roots and beer grains are used as rough feed for livestock. Most of the malt skin and beer grains are discarded or discharged directly into the sewer, which is a great waste of resources while causing environmental pollution. Therefore, to actively develop and utilize vinasse of the beer industry can achieve the effect of killing two birds with one stone.
The major reasons for the abandonment of beer vinasse is: the high moisture leads to high humidity and high viscosity, driving the drying cost exorbitantly high; traditional single-cylinder dryers often fail to remove moisture content and often mars material properties with poor temperature control, and the nutrient content of the material is destroyed.
