Strawberry

Peru grows one of the best strawberries in the world. According to the Agrodata Peru website, in the first four months of 2018, the United States was the main destination market for this fruit, with US $1,274,000. It was followed by Canada (US $1,170,000), South Korea (US $746,000), Japan (US $666,000), the Netherlands (US $497,000), and Puerto Rico (US $118,000)

The garden strawberry is a widely grown hybrid species of the genus Fragaria, collectively known as the strawberries, which are cultivated worldwide for their fruit. The fruit is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness.
