Hafnium Silicide, also known as HfSi2, is a refractory intermetallic compound widely used in various industries. n-situ synthesis of refractory metal carbides (HfC, HfC, TaC) in C/SiC composite materials can significantly improve its ablation resistance. The main mechanism can be summarized. In order to inhibit oxidation, enhance the erosion resistance of the matrix and make up for the defects after ablation, HfSi2 can be used as an Hf source for in-situ synthesis of HfC.

Performance character:
1. High purity: XRD detection has no impurity phase, or HfSi2+Si>99%, low oxygen content (XRD detection does not contain HfO2 phase), low melting and infiltration reaction temperature, good product density, and no voids;

2. Concentrated distribution: standard normal particle size distribution, no bimodal or multimodal particle size distribution range can be designed according to customer requirements.
