Hot melt yarn low melt fiber polyester nylon fdy bonding yarn fusible filament

Hot melt yarn, also known as low melt fiber, low melt yarn, is one of the most rapidly developed functional materials in recent years. It’s divided into nylon hot melt yarn and polyester hot melt yarn. By adjusting material properties, control the melting point at the range of 85-180 degree centigrade. 

Normally the melting point of nylon or polyester, the melting point is above 250 degree. At room temperature, hot melt yarn is just like normal fiber, it can be knitted or woven with other fibers like nylon, or polyester or others, into shoe upper fabric, bondi line, ribbon, in dry heat or humid and hot conditions, put pressure on those fabric, the temperature rises. When it reaches the melting point of hot melt yarn, the hot melt yarn starts melting. 

However, other fibers in those fabric no change at this period temperature. As temperature keeps rising, hot melt yarn melts and become adhesive and bond other fibers and finalize the fabric design. We can use hot melt yarn to replace glue or chemical binder, and it’s eco-friendly and smell-less. What’s more, it can avoid volatile matter and dust pollution. It reduces the production process and lower the cost.
