Redispersible powder (RDP) is a water-soluble redispersible powder, which can be dispersed into an emulsion quickly when mixedwith water. It is a special polyvinyl alcohol-based protective colloid of ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) polymer powder, made bydispersing colloids as raw materials such as polymer resins, additives, protective colloids, and anti-caking agents, and the spray-dried. It is mainly applied in construction materials with outstanding bonding strength, improves the flexibility and opentime of the mortar. It also gives the mortar excellent alkali resistance. In addition to improve mortar adhesion, fractureresistance strength, waterproofness, plasticity, abrasion resistance and workability, RDP will provide stronger flexibility inflexible mortar as well.
