A D-shaped seatpost adds an extra touch of comfort to the back end and also uses less material to help shave off a few extra grams of weight. The asymmetric tube shapes, crafted through a process of virtual protoyping, distribute rider load and control brake-induced forces so that the handling inspires confidence in all conditions.

The sleek look is achieved thanks to a Dual Transmission Integration (DTi) that neatly routes cables internally through a port on the downtube so that maintenance is easy and aerodynamics not hindered. A precision-tuned bottom bracket is stiff for the sharpest acceleration and pairs perfectly with the stiff Mavic Aksium Elite UST tubeless-ready wheelset with thru-axles.
