The SSP485 is a half-duplex transceiver for RS-485 and RS422 communication. IC contains one driver and one receiver. The SSP485 has a fail-safe circuit. Each driver output and receiver input is protected against ±15kV electrostatic discharge (HBM) (ESD)shocks.
