2020 BIANCHI METHANOL CV RS 9.1 MOUNTAIN BIKE
The Countervail technology used in the high modulus carbon construction of Bianchi’s Methanol CV RS 9.1 Mountain Bike reduces vibrations by up to 80%, lessening fatigue and improving control. This is even more impressive as the frame still weighs just 940 grams (claimed). As befits such a svelte race machine, the groupset is equally performance-oriented, with the electronic SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain controlled fully wirelessly, thus completely removing any cable-related issues such as stretch or clogging. The FOX SC 32 29” Factory Kashima fork adds 100mm of travel to the front end for greater cornering traction and control over rocks and roots, whilst the DT SWISS XR1501 SPLINE 29" 25mm wheels take advantage of Boost standard spacing to ensure that they remain stiff and track true on rough terrain.
