Bianchi’s Methanol CV RS 9.2 Mountain Bike combines Shimano’s best mechanical groupset with FOX’s SC 32 Factory Kashima fork and DT Swiss XR1501 SPLINE 29" wheels, resulting in a cross country race weapon par excellence.

The carbon hardtail frame weighs an astonishing 940 grams (claimed, size 43), yet still features Bianchi’s Countervail layer in the layup which damps vibrations and therefore reduces fatigue and increases control. The latest geometry is longer and slacker than previously, enabling it to take on the toughest race courses and trails at greater speed. Shimano’s XTR drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes sit at the pinnacle of their range, offering sublime performance and a low weight; ideal for anyone chasing a podium position or KOM. 29” wheels are essential on an XC bike as the larger wheel size rolls more easily over obstacles and carries speed better, so the DT Swiss XR1501 SPLINE wheels are a welcome addition to the build.
