Making roasted coconut oil begins with carefully selected coconuts, typically sourced from regions where coconuts are a staple crop, such as Kerala in India. The coconuts are dehusked and the white flesh (coconut meat) is extracted.

This flesh is then roasted at a controlled temperature to develop a deep, caramelized flavor and aroma. The roasting process also gives the oil its characteristic golden-brown color.

Once roasted, the coconut meat is pressed to extract the oil.
