IEC TS 62782 PV Modules Cyclic Dynamic Mechanical Load Testing Machine

Enviclone PV modules Dynamic Mechanical Load (DML) Test Machine simulates the dynamic load with the pneumatic cylinders and suction cups. Each pneumatic cylinder drives one suction cup, and each cylinder rod is equipped with one tension pressure sensor.

Each pneumatic cylinder is a separate control module. Periodic load stress test is performed on the Photovoltaic (PV) Modules’ surface, and PV Modules can be installed according to different requirements. The system also has the ability to monitor the curvature of the PV Module’s center points in real time.

The enviClone's PV modules Dynamic Mechanical Load (DML) test machine (EVCL-DML series) is a testing equipment to test pressure resistance of PV modules.

Photovoltaic Modules’ pressure-tight performance in case of bad weather like strong wind, snowstorm, hails, etc., and evaluate if components within the module including solar cells, interconnect ribbons and/or electrical bonds within the module are susceptible to breakage or if edge seals are likely to fail due to the mechanical stresses encountered during installation and operation.

This test can be performed at any module temperature within the normal operating temperature range.
