This design ensures the minimum shortening or damage to the fiber, resulting in better paper strength with a higher breaking length. The rib height in the long fiber zone is higher, while it is smaller in the short fiber zone, providing the desired refining effect.

Our Refiner Plates feature several special design elements, including an inlet coarse bar pattern, outlet fine bar pattern, base taper, SAS (Short Angle Shearing) Design, and no breaker bar or dam. The inclined parting line between the two zones allows for close control over the cutting angle of the refiner disc.
