It is obtained by submerged fermentation from Trichoderma Reesei with advanced post-processing techniques. It is widely used in manufacture of beer, animal feed, cane sugar(sucrose), papermaking and anti-fungal disease of plants, etc.

Action Principle
Beta Glucanase is the general term for various enzymes that can catalyze the hydrolysis of beta-glucan. There are two types, such as endoglucanases and exoglycanases. It includes 1,3-1,4-β-glucanase, 1,3-β-glucanase, 1,2-1,4-β-glucanase, 1,4-β-glucanase and 1,3-1,6-β-glucanase.

Application Guide
1. In the manufacture of beer, when saccharification stage begins. The recommended dosage is 0.05-0.25L/ton malt (based on 20000u/ml). It can decrease the wort viscosity, speed up filtration rate, improve malt dissolution rate, improve beer sensory index.
2. In the complex feed enzyme, the recommended dosage is 0.02-0.1kg/ton complete feed (based on 20000u/ml). It can degrade intestinal contents viscosity, remove anti-nutritional factors, improve animals’ growth performance.
3. In the cane sugar industry, it is usually used in increasing sugar viscosity, filtration difficulty and crystal difficulty are caused in microbial infection. The trail recommended dosage is 0.05L/ton dry basis (based on 20000u/ml).
4. Other industries, it depends on the different substrate concentration and operation conditions or according to the instructions of technicians.

1. Definition of Activity: one β-glucanase unit is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1 μmol reducing sugar per min at 50℃, pH5.5.
2. Working Temperature: 30℃-70℃ (Effective), 50℃-60℃ (Optimum).
3. Working pH: 3.5-5.5 (Effective), 4.8-5.5(Optimum).
4. Co2+ and Zn+ have increasing effect on enzyme activity; Fe2+, Cu2+ and Mn2+ have inhibiting effect on enzyme activity.
